Reason+から（kara）
"から（kara）" indicates the reason or cause for something.
①Aから、B
The reason comes before ”から”, and the result, situation, suggestion… etc. comes after ”から.”
A＝reason B=result, situation, proposal,…etc.
e.g.
たのしいですから、サッカーが すきです。
Tanoshīdesukara, sakkā ga sukidesuka.
I like soccer, because it’s fun.
e.g.
たかかったですから、とけいを かいませんでした。
Takakattadesukara, tokei o kaimasendeshita.
I didn’t buy the watch, because it was expensive.
e.g.
あした ともだちの たんじょうびですから、ケーキを つくります。
Ashita tomodachi no tanjōbi desukara, kēki o tsukurimasu.
I will make a cake, because it’s my friend’s birthday tomorrow.
e.g.
しずかですから、 としょかんで べんきょうします。
Shizukadesukara, toshokan de benkyō shimasu.
I study at the library, because it’s quiet.
e.g.
チケットが 2まい ありますから、いっしょに えいがを みませんか。
Chiketto ga 2mai arimasukara, issyoni eiga o mimasenka.
Since I have 2 tickets, would you like to watch the movie together?
②A。Bから。
It is also possible to add the reason later as a separate sentence.
A=result, situation, proposal,…etc. B＝reason
e.g.
デパートで とけいを かいませんでした。たかかったですから。
Depāto de tokei o kaimasendeshita. Takakattadesukara
I didn’t buy the watch at the department store. It was expensive.
e.g.
いっしょに えいがを みませんか。チケットが 2まい ありますから。
Issyoni eiga o mimasenka. Chiketto ga 2mai arimasukara.
Would you like to watch the movie together? I have 2 tickets.
e.g.
きのう うみへ いきました。てんきが よかったですから。
Kinō umi e ikimashita. Tenki ga yokatta desukara.
I went to the beach yesterday. It was sunny.
